Dr. Navin Mukesh Punjabi is the Vice- Principal and Associate Professor, Director of Placement Cell at H.R College of Commerce and Economics. He teaches subjects like Commerce, Wealth Management, Corporate Governance, Principles of Investment and Strategic Management. He has taught a master class on business on ‘Doing Business in India-from Culture to Capital Market’ at Kennesaw State University, Atlanta, USA. He has been invited as a speaker to various international universities and has addressed delegation from Universities like Stillman School of Business- Seton Hall University, NYU Stern School of Business, USA, Columbia Business School, London Business School and University of California at Berkeley. Dr. Punjabi has got an opportunity to visit and learn from leading universities like Cornell, NYU- SCPS, Rutgers, Adelphi, Dickinson to name a few. He is invited as a career coach at various education forums like Times Education Expo etc.

He is awarded the outstanding alumnus in the field of education from his alma matter in 2009. Dr Punjabi was also awarded the outstanding young teacher award from Higher Education Forum (HEF). He is a member on the Academic Council and Board of Governance of the H.S.N.C. University, Mumbai; which is a State Cluster University of which H. R. College is the lead college. He was also nominated as a Chairman Academics by the Indo-American Society.

Dr. Punjabi is the Chair (Knowledge and Skills) Committee of the IMC Chambers of Commerce & Industry and was co-opted as managing committee member on the Chamber. He is also the managing committee member of the Investor Education and Welfare Society(IEWA) to further the cause of Investor Education. Dr. Punjabi has worked with leading corporates like Kotak Securities and DBS Bank (Development Bank of Singapore) in their wealth management division. Dr Punjabi has authored books on Wealth Management, Social Marketing, Risk Management, Principles of Management, Media Planning & Management and authored and co-authored many papers at National and International Level Conferences.
